Here at TechAppeala, we have been receiving quizzes from Kenyans on how to connect the Sarahah app to Snapchat. We have therefore decided to write about it!
But First, What is Sarahah App?
Sarahah is a social media app that allows users to send anonymous messages. This is of course to other users of the app. It hides the identity of the sender. And this is what makes it different from other similar apps. The user could be an individual or a business.
Its purpose is to help people and businesses develop by receiving constructive anonymous feedback.
In case you’re interested, the app’s name means ‘honesty’ in Arabic.
The app was created by Zain Tawfiq and it was released on June 13, 2017. To use it, you just need to sign up with it. The next thing is to share your ID with your people. But as mentioned above, there is an option to send messages without identity.
It is simple to post the messages. It is also easy to receive and read the messages. The messages appear in a bubble-like enclosure. See our previous post about the app.

But we have the last words on the Sarahah. The app is in its ‘making stage’. So we don’t know about its future. It may develop to rule other similar apps. It may also die away!
Here at TechAppeala, we will be keeping a keen eye on it. We will be bringing you any update from the app. So stay in for truest updates in Kenya.
